Cancellation Policy

Explore Italy Today reserves the right to cancel or modify any tours due to circumstances beyond our control, such as strikes, bad weather, government regulations, and other unforeseeable events.

If any such circumstances arise, we may suggest the following options:

Refund or Gift Voucher (eligible candidates only)
Reschedule the tour for a different date or time slot (subject to availability and tour type. Full payment required)
Suggest an alternative tour of equal or greater value (subject to availability and tour type. Full payment required)

In Case of Late Arrivals or No Show:

In the event of a late arrival or failure to show up on the scheduled tour day, the tour opportunity will be forfeited, and no refund will be provided. However, subject to availability and the type of tour, we may suggest an alternative tour time. In such a case, you will be required to pay the full price for the ticket and the tour guide.

‘All Sales Final’ status:

Some tours have an “All Sales Final” policy, meaning that no cancellations or refunds are allowed. We recommend that you review the cancellation policy outlined in the relevant Tour FAQ section to understand the cancellation and refund policy.

Additional Non-Refundable Cases:

Please take note of the following policies when booking a tour:

If the tour has an advance booking confirmation policy, it will be non-refundable.
Certain unique tours, such as the Colosseum Underground Tour and Nighttime tour, cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
Private tours are non-refundable.
Last-minute bookings are non-refundable.

Please ensure that you check the cancellation policy stated in the appropriate Tour FAQ section at the time of booking. Once the tour has commenced, no refunds will be available.

Tour Cancellation Policy

The cancellation policies listed below apply to all tour reservations, unless the tour specifies any additional rates or fees (such as hotel pickup/drop-off). Before confirming your booking, please review the tour booking and FAQ section carefully. Please note that “Explore Italy Today,” will always abide by individual tour policies when applicable.

If the cancellation is made within 24 hours of the start of the activity or in the event of a no-show.
Cancellation made with more than 24 hours notice (In Advance)

Non-refundable
Before canceling any tour, please check the “FAQ” section of the individual tour as certain tours may have different cancellation policies or may not be eligible for a partial refund. It is important to note that non-refundable tours are not eligible for a refund.

Please be aware that cancellation fees will be determined by the date when we receive your cancellation request through email and the starting date of the tour.

It is important to note that all cancellation requests must be made directly through “Explore Italy Today”.

How To Cancel

We will process your tour cancellation request within one to seven business days. Please note that we cannot acknowledge verbal, over the phone, or voice mail requests. To cancel your trip, please send us an email with the appropriate reason, or call us during opening hours.

Covid-19 Epidemic Policy:

The Italian Law may impact tour dates, times, refunds, and cancellation policies due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Please be aware that our standard booking terms and cancellation policy are still valid. We recommend reviewing the guidelines and restrictions before booking or canceling any tours.

“Explore Italy Today” reserves the right to modify the terms of this Refund and Cancellation Policy periodically.
