Visitors with disabilities who have a verified invalidity of over 74% are granted free admission to the Vatican Museums. In addition, visitors who require assistance are allowed to bring a companion who can also enter for free. These free entry tickets can be obtained directly at the special permissions and/or reception desks in the museum hall, provided that a valid invalidity certificate is presented. If necessary, priority skip-the-line entry is given to the companion of a visitor with a disability.
For those who need a wheelchair, a free wheelchair can be obtained from the Museum cloakroom upon presentation of a valid ID and a deposit.
Entering sites or museums can be a challenge for people with disabilities, and many may not be aware of the available accommodations. The staff at the Vatican Museums are sensitive to the needs of visitors with disabilities, and free tours have been designed specifically for Blind and Deaf visitors upon request. However, visitors with disabilities are not able to tour the Vatican Gardens.

Please note that the St. Peter’s Basilica Guided Tour is not included in the ticket price.

The morning tour is specifically offered in English and will be guided by a knowledgeable and professional tour guide.
Certainly, at the conclusion of our Vatican morning tour, you are free to explore St. Peter’s Basilica on your own. The basilica’s entrance, conveniently located near the end of our tour, provides access to the grottoes, Vatican Post Office, and the option to climb the Dome. While our guide will be happy to offer directions, please note that this part of the visit will not be guided.
Please be aware that St. Peter’s Basilica is closed on specific religious holidays, including Easter, December 24 and 31. Additionally, the basilica may close unexpectedly for religious activities, in which case a visit to the Vatican Library will be substituted.
Typically, visitors can walk directly from the Sistine Chapel to the basilica through another door. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this door has been temporarily blocked, and entry to the basilica is through a separate entrance. While group tours were not previously allowed to enter the basilica from the interior, this restriction has been lifted, and guided tours are now permitted to continue in the basilica until further notice.
You may bring a small bag with essential items during your visit, but please refrain from carrying large bags or luggage as they are not allowed inside the attraction.
Children aged below 6 years are eligible for free admission to the Museum, while young tourists aged between 6 and 18 years can receive a discount on the total price. Valid proof of age, such as a passport, must be presented.
Students under the age of 25 can also avail themselves of the discounts by presenting a valid Student ID and legal documents like a passport or driving license to verify their eligibility.
Visitors are advised to wear clothing that covers their shoulders, arms, and lower legs. Clothing such as shorts, short pants, short skirts, sleeveless tops, and garments that expose the shoulders are not permitted for both men and women.
This tour is not recommended for children under the age of 6. Children aged between 6 and 18 can participate in the tour but must be accompanied by an adult.
If you have any mobility issues, please contact us for private access. However, please note that the sites are not wheelchair accessible, so unfortunately, visitors who require wheelchairs will not be able to visit this place.
This tour cannot be canceled and is non-refundable. However, visitors can request a change in the tour time and date by informing us at least 48 hours before the scheduled date. The change will be subject to availability, and only one change is permitted for the tour time and date.
It’s recommended that you arrive at the tour meeting location 25 minutes early. It is the customer’s responsibility to be punctual. Unfortunately, if you arrive late or fail to show up, we will be unable to accommodate you as we will already be at the tour destination with other participants. Additionally, please note that the Vatican tour ticket is non-refundable, and cannot be cancelled. Therefore, if you miss the tour, you will not receive a refund for your ticket.

Please note that wearing a mask is mandatory when visiting the Colosseum. Failure to comply with this rule will result in denial of entry. Additionally, your temperature will be checked at the entrance, and entry will be refused if it exceeds 37.5C (99.5F).
While in the open-air areas of the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, the mask requirement may be relaxed. However, a mask must be worn when entering the Roman Forum area.
